McPherson Implementing Local Redevelopment Authority, or Fort Mac LRA, recently gained two new board members as Governor Nathan Deal appointed two individuals nominated by East Point Mayor Jannquell Peters. This first, Sharonda Hubbard, is a founding partner of BHF Technology, LLC, and an active member at Elizabeth Baptist Church. Hubbard earned a bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University and resides in East Point. Ms. Hubbard has been appointed to the seat formerly held by Mr. Ken DeLeon.
Another board member, Sondra Rhoades-Johnson, is principal of Rhoades Strategies Consulting. She served as Fulton County Tax Commissioner and the Georgia Technology Authority’s Chief Planning Officer for IT Strategic Planning. Rhoades-Johnson is on the AARP Georgia Executive Council, is a graduate of Leadership Atlanta, ARC Regional Leadership Institute, Leadership Georgia and Leadership America. She earned a bachelor’s from Spelman College and a master’s in Business Administration from Clark Atlanta University, and resides in East Point. Ms. Rhoades-Johnson has been appointed to the seat formerly held by former East Point Mayor Joe Macon.
Both were sworn in yesterday at the Governor’s office.
