The McPherson Implementation Local Redevelopment Authority (Fort Mac LRA) is a local government authority created by the State of Georgia, entrusted with catalyzing growth by ensuring the quality reuse and redevelopment of the former Fort McPherson Army Base in southwest Atlanta. Its board of directors, nominated by the Mayor of Atlanta, the Mayor of East Point, the Fulton County Commission, and the Governor of Georgia, provides leadership as the LRA works with partners to redevelop the property to achieve its economic development mandate.
